resin injection system
On
Line Resin Injection System: The resin can be injected through the
blowline resin injection system. It consists of a blowline, injection
nozzles, a resin pumping system and a metering system with a high
accuracy mass flowmeter. The blowline is made of several short length
sections so that the resin can be injected at the different locations
if required. The resin dosage rate can be up to 65kg/h. Typical resin
systems injected through the blowline are urea formaldehyde (UF) resin,
melamine-urea formaldehyde (MUF) resin, phenol formaldehyde (PF) resin
and methylene diphenyl diisocynate-based (MDI) resin.
Off Line Air Tube Dry Fibre Resin Blending System:
This system is designed to handle the dried unresinated fibre and
add more flexibility for carrying out small scale research projects
at the pilot plant. Using the dry fibre resin blending system, the
resin can be applied onto fibre without operating the refiner and
the batch size can be reduced as smaller as 2 kg of dry fibre. Typical
batch size is about 6 – 8 kg of dry fibre.
