pressurised refining system
 The
pressurized refining system with raw material handling and feeding
system consists of a wood chipper, a mechanical screening system,
a raw material feeding system delivering material into a preheater,
a preheater, a pressurised refiner and a blowline linked to the flash
tube dryer.
The Andritz 22” pressurized refiner is the core of this refining
system. It is equipped with 160kW motor with the drive speed of
0 to 3600 rpm. The diameter of the refiner plates is 22”.
The system can be operated in the steam pressure up to 18 bar. Typical
production throughput is between 40 and 200 kg/h (oven dry basis)
depending on type of material, process condition and refiner plate
used. The refiner is designed to operate close to industrial conditions
and can produce very high quality fibre.
