Forintek currently has over 290 members. These are
lumber, composites and other value-added wood products manufacturing
companies, as well as Natural Resources Canada (Canadian Forest
Service); the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan,
Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland
and Labrador; and the Government of Yukon. Associate members include
sawmill and panel equipment manufacturers, suppliers of chemicals
and adhesives, etc., all of which have strong ties to the wood products
sector.
