Several software packages have been developed by FPInnovations to simulate
various steps of the manufacturing and drying processes for lumber,
composite products, value-added products, etc.
Based on many years of experimentation, these models are useful
for process optimisation, new product development, training and
education. Except where otherwise specified, FPInnovations software tools
are available to members only.
They are generally free, aside from a minimal fee of $100 for
