On the initiative of FPInnovations – Wood Products Division, university and industry researchers are working together to support and highlight research in nanotechnology for wood products.

Our team’s primary mission is to support the forest industry by transferring leading-edge technology from industries enjoying greater added value. We also develop and assess innovative technical solutions to improve existing properties or to introduce new ones. The ultimate goal is to give the Canadian forest industry a sure competitive advantage on the world market through the development of wood products with new characteristics and uses.
